Crowdfunding for Organizations
Many times, the biggest struggle for a nonprofit organization, church or school is finding funding. No matter the cause, there are always so many people to help, but so little funds to do everything that needs to be done. Then there are wants – those dreams and wishes for making your nonprofit a better help for those it serves. Crowdfunding is a solution to this problem.
With a focus on faith, family and friends, WonderWe is a new online and mobile app platform for fundraising that can help further the mission and gather awareness of any nonprofit organization, church or school. And, it’s all free. With WonderWe, you don’t have to be alone anymore in your fundraising efforts. It’s all about the “we.” The platform allows for finding a much greater audience of supporters than with traditional fundraising as it better utilizes the networking of family, friends and coworkers.
“WonderWe wants to delight its customers with the best crowdfunding experience. We want to do that with technology and positive culture,” said WonderWe’s founder Dominic Ismert. “We are excited to be at a place where we are able to do that – and we can’t wait to see how our product helps people to help people.”
Starting a fundraising page on WonderWe is easy and campaigns can be launched in 10 minutes. Organizations can apply to be featured on the website. If the application is accepted, they are given a dashboard and tools to use to start a campaign, launch it and promote it with supporters. Add pictures and video to enhance your campaign and make it pop.
There are no monthly fees, platform transaction costs or setup fees. And unlike other fundraising sites, WonderWe does not take a profit from the monies raised, which means more money for your organization.
A fundraising page can easily be linked to the organization, school or church’s website. And the campaign can be set up with an organizational portal to have several administrators who can help edit, promote and monitor the fundraising data. The more people helping, the greater the ideas, talents and skills coming together to make a successful fundraiser.
You can also ask board members, volunteers and donors to start their own mini fundraising campaign with WonderWe’s peer-to-peer program. So if the main goal is $20,000, a supporter could start their own fundraiser within the larger one to raise a percentage, say $2,000 for example, of the larger goal.
“This is the ‘we power’ that is implied in WonderWe’s brand,” said Ismert. “It’s one of the core differences between funding ‘me’ and funding ‘we.’”
Giving is also easy, secure and can be done online or with the mobile app. And receipts are automatically emailed to donors for tax purposes.
Whether it’s a special event, emergency relief, specific project or whatever the need, your nonprofit, church or school can have its most successful fundraiser to date with the help of WonderWe’s innovative technology, social networking and the power of “we.”
